Alex in New York.

I’ve just returned from a somewhat exhausting, but very enjoyable, 10 day ‘meet-greet-press-the-flesh’ trip to New York. Meeting up with our esteemed distributors Admiral Imports, a huge round of retailers and engaging in some very interesting brand introductions and tastings. Not least of which was the Malt Advocate’s amazing WhiskyFest, on Tuesday 30th of Oct, Continue reading..

Burning Man

The brands recently made a guest appearance at Burning Man, an annual art festival and temporary community, based on radical self expression and self-reliance, in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada. Sheep Dippers across the water.

We often get letters from fans of Sheep Dip and Pigs Nose here at Spencerfield House, and this one, from some friends in Ireland, was typical of our post bag: It says what many of them say that there are little pockets of enthusiasts who get together regularly for a laugh and a gargle with Continue reading..

Another Scottish Export down to England.

Here’s an interesting export story from today’s Scotsman. One of the country’s most admired master-distillers has upped sticks and moved south to oversee the creation of a new distillery. Mr Henderson said: “I must admit I took up the invitation to come south with some trepidation. But I was completely intrigued by what they are Continue reading..
