Spencerfield Spirit Company entered our Sheep Dip Whisky, Pig’s Nose and Edinburgh Gin for the Ultimate Spirit Challenge earlier this year and we are so chuffed to be recognised our scores are below:

Edinburgh Gin Score: 91% Accolade: Excellent, Highly Recommended
Tasting Notes from the Judges:
Soft, subtle, smooth and creamy, this juniper-light and enchanting gin is bright and delicate, with hints of coriander and citrus leading the way. Pretty and delightful.

Sheep Dip Whisky Score: 90% Award Finalist Accolade Excellent, Highly Recommended
Tasting Notes from the Judges:
Bright notes of wild honey, vanilla bean, and waves of toasted grain fill the nose. Ideally balanced with a silky core flanked by subtle spice and oak notes. A refreshing aperitif.

Pig’s Nose Whisky Score: 88% Accolade: Very Good, Strong Recommendation
Tasting Notes from the Judges:
The nose is filled with the scent of sweet tea biscuits with accents of honey, toasted grains, and roasted nuts. The palate is fresh and rich with gobs of sweet malt coating the tongue and throat. A beautiful everyday Whisky.
