Australia’s oldest wine publication ‘ Winestate ‘  carries articles on feature tasting and review of Sheep Dip and Pig’s Nose in their current issue.

We are happy to bring the findings to the fore!!!

In their reviews of Whiskies of the World, Sheep Dip featured  in the  Single Malt Scotch Whisky Under $100 category and Pig’s Nose in Blended Scotch Whisky category.

Sheep Dip scored the highest mark of the 13 whiskies tasted by the expert panel with Five Stars.
Rich, full-bodied style showing plenty of age complexity. Hints of tea leaf and malt on the nose. Great palate – silkysmooth and gentle in the mouth. “Very easy to drink,” agreed the panel.

Pig’s Nose came in joint top of the seven tasted with  Four and a Half  Stars”A delight to drink!” enthused one judge. Excellent combination of aromas and flavours with good aged characters, great complexity and structure and silky-smooth mouthfeel.

Thanks to Winestate from all at Spencerfield Spirit -  the non corporate owned un-mega branded drinks people with 9 and 1/2 whole stars…
