this goes to tom pollard.since the 2 brands are only available on the special order list in virginia, i doubt you saw them on the shelf at your "spirit shop" all liquor stores in va are state owned.regardless, you're statement is just plain stupid. you apparently didn't buy it or try it, but felt it necessary to come to this site to make a stupid statement.please stop making people from richmond look stupid. |

after a long absence, my spirit shop recently stocked two old favorites, pig's nose and sheep dip. i was agast at the new packaging and labeling. where has tradition of which your country is so famous gone???this example of moderation has gone astray. so much so, that i question the integrity of your product. has it gone to the modern as well?so, this inquiry: are thare any old pig's nose and sheep dip labels left in someone's desk? if so, i would appreciate your sending me several for ol' times sake tradition is still sacred!!!thomas n. pollard8906 ginger way ct.richmond, va 23229usa |

i have been a fan of sheep dip ever since a friend of mine brought it back from scotland. i finally located a couple of bottles in tennessee and finally after a year got my local store to bring in a case. they were very worried that i might be the only customer but a week later the case was gone and people were screaming for more. its a wonderful tipple and the name gives it an air of fun while enjoying a great dram. i couldn't find much info on sheep dip until your article in whisky magazine. now i know the whole story behind my favorite funday dram. |

i bought some pigs nose at the bath and west show from you earlier today - it is really very good. particularly sophisticated for a blended whiskey. pity there are no outlets near me. would you sell me a case of it and send it down? |

we went to smithfild show and re-discovered sheep dip - think it tastes even better than it did in the seventies when mole valley farmers sold it without vat - sheep dip you see is vat free |
